It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a UFO . . . it’s a drone?

[There have been few UFO sightings in recent years, with the exception of India (see one example below). But there has been a dramatic increase in the number of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).]

The Indian Air Force, and security agencies at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, have been put on alert for aerial threats after multiple reports of sightings of mysterious drone-like UFOs flying around and near the international airport.

Surender Singh, director general of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), said his staff had reported 62 UFO sightings near the Indira Gandhi international airport in New Delhi since October 2015.

The sightings have alarmed the authorities and sparked rumors of alien UFO surveillance activity around the airport in Delhi. …

According to the Hindustan Times, an air force officer monitoring air traffic at the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) tower reported [last Oct. 31] that he noticed a UFO flying over runway 9-27, the smallest runway at the airport.

He noticed a second UFO at 10:50 a.m. and another at 10:55 a.m., both flying near the boundary of the airport.
