An outrage: Why not the truth about a Thai princess, China’s economy and the slaughter of 140 Christians?

Today’s headlines:

The above three stories separately address issues of incalculable consequence for humanity in the 21st century.

How have they been covered by our communications media, the lens through which the masses peer at reality?

Thai Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati.

Well, consider that after Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, heir to the throne in Thailand, went into a coma after receiving her third Covid booster she also utterly disappeared from the radar of the mass media.

As for the other two stories, once obstinate and even “adversarial” journalists similarly bowed to the wishes of Chairman Xi Jinping and their woke overlords.

As states on its home page: “An Information World War threatens the United States of America and the First Amendment freedoms that made it a “shining city upon a hill.”

Journalism students once studied the text book Four Theories of the Press: The Authoritarian, Libertarian, Social Responsibility, and Soviet Communist Concepts of What the Press Should Be and Do.

Amazon’s synopsis of the book [see here] reveals the confusion that clouded crusading reporters’ sense of mission during Watergate and the Vietnam War in the 1960s and ’70s. Many professors openly favored the Soviet or Social Responsibility theories as justification for skewing readers’ perceptions of reality for the desired result.

Why shouldn’t the media simply report the Truth with a capital T? To do so obviously does not mean crying “fire” in a crowded theater.

In the case of the three stories above, billions of people now living on planet Earth have a urgent need to know the facts in order to not only survive but also to pursue happiness and provide for their families.

Fortunately, millions (billions?) of global citizens have switched from the passive to the active mode when it come to acquiring information they “need to know.”

This column assumes as hypotheticals the substantial existence of God on Earth and the temporary reign of Satan as the “god of this world”. References: Holy Bible, Divine Principle, What I Saw at the Second Coming.
