Today’s headline: A closer look at Barack Obama’s advice to Israel on military strategy

Innumerable experts are explaining why both America and Israel are now in crisis while the rogue powers are not only in the ascendant but laying waste to once dominant Judeo-Christian civilization.

Could a child fathom the complexities of the geopolitics that has humanity on the brink of a potential nuclear holocaust?

Could a theological illiterate understand why God could once again be seen as abandoning His chosen people from the centuries before Christ as well as the new Rome — the Christian nation that was once the “shining city on the hill”?

It may not be all that complicated.

A recurring theme in the Bible is that fallen people struggled to follow the spiritual laws that came down from an invisible God, opting time and again for false gods, idols and compelling human leaders. They favored fleshly desires and mob rule.

But in their prime, the greatness in the cultures of America and Israel were founded on intangible and ancient qualities traditionally credited to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Not so, say the atheists, hedonists, Marxists, and fast talkers who have emerged as dominant and modern “influencers.” Ancient mythologies have been displaced by modern science and rational, if human minds.

They are the new “way, the truth and the life”; Taken together, an evolving modernist collective consciousness; A relatable god of this world.

This beast offers comfort in the short term but lacks the Divine Love required for peace. And this modern golden calf is also cursed unfortunately, by a multiple personality disorder. Instead of an absolute, unchanging and loving God we are presented a relativistic multi-grid zoom call.

Too many Americans and the Israelis decided it was  better to “fit in” and go with the flow. Eat much and live well, for the moment at least.

Which brings us to Barack Obama. Should he really be leading America from behind the screen as the dominant “influencers” insist? His and Hillary Clinton’s acolytes are still incensed that they lost four precious years (2017-2020) and demand that we second their emotion. Or if not us, our children.

Are America and Israel better off with Obama and the secret “club” wielding the levers of power in the world of humanity?
