The first paragraph of the above article states:

Intelligence operatives have long used manipulated media to disseminate disinformation during conflict.

No kidding! Conflict? As in the day-to-day war of Ideas that has been raging since the beginning of time?

The second paragraph reads:

The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI), however, has taken that kind of manipulation to another level.

So we are bracing for “deep fakes” generated by quantum computers. And coming from U.S. intelligence.

Some of the more astute observers of the political scene in Washington, D.C. have been noting that since President Donald Trump arrived on the scene in 2017 and “ripped the lid off ugly,” Americans who are paying attention have come to realize that much of what they have been told by “authoritative” and “credible” political-media sources for the entire lives is a lie.

Such is the state of affairs described by John 8:43-44:

⁴³ Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. ⁴⁴ You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

But maybe discerning lovers of God will “deepfake” the “father of lies” by simply ignoring him and the virtual landscape he engineered and focusing on the magnificence of the Creation.

Revelation 12 ⁹ The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
