Many thought communism was finished with the collapse of the Berlin Wall and the Soviet Union decades ago.

So why is communism thriving in major nations in 2023, including some say the United States despite its perfect record of failure, bringing misery and even genocide rather than the promised utopia to “the people”?

In an incisive interview with Tucker Carlson, leading Argentine presidential candidate Javier Milei was asked to explain the wreckage of his nation’s economy with an inflation rate rivaling failed states. It’s well worth listening to his response.

He was also asked to explain how the current pope being from Argentina and Javier Milei  could both be good Catholics given that their politics are diametrically opposed.

Again the response below by Javier Milei is fascinating including his observation that the pope “has an affinity for murderous communists” and that socialism weaves its spell over time, seducing society in increments.

One of many reasons he said he opposes communism is that it violates the Ten Commandments, including the number eight: ““You shall not steal.” (Exodus 20:15)

“To support social justice is to support stealing,” he pointed out.

And seduction of the masses violates another of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:16) which prohibits lying, dissembling or deceiving in any way.

How rare is the political leader in 2023 who urges Americans to be like him and have nothing to do with any communist.  “One has to be very careful, cut their financing, and make them compete on a level playing field.”
